Our Philosophy:
Here at Amy's Animal Friends, we want you to finish our
course with the confidence that
you, too, can be a professional pet groomer capable of
offering quality services to your
customers. |

Our Program:
We offer a 10-week, 350-hour course in pet grooming. We
meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday through Friday, although the schedule may vary
to accommodate students.
Students will be taught from the al-breed dog-grooming
guide. The curriculum for this
program prepares students to enter into the
professional pet-grooming field.
You will learn:
1. Proper care of equipment.
2. Safety for pet and groomer.
3. Client/Groomer relationship.
4. Skin disorders.
5. Internal and external parasites.
6. Types of coats.
7. De-matting.
8. Proper use of equipment.
9. Canine bathing.
10. Grooming of all breeds, including cats.
11. Anatomy.
12. Groomer/Veterinarian relationship.
13. Scheduling appointments.
14. First Aid. |

Equipment:
You will be under experienced supervision and be using
the best professional equipment in
the field of pet grooming. A basic starter kit is
included with tuition. |

Tuition & Certificate:
Tuition for the complete 10-week course is $4,500. All
incidental supplies such as
colognes, Q-tips, baby wipes, nail polishes, ribbons,
rubber bands, neck scarves, etc. will
be provided. To receive a certificate upon graduation,
a student must have a "C" average or
higher. |

Fees and tuition payments are non-refundable. |
